My latest passion project, “Currency” is the story of the abduction of the mayor of Los Angeles 2 weeks before a pivotal 2005 election and his wife’s desperate attempts to free her husband and save both his political career and his life.
Filmed in Los Angeles and Cleveland, “Currency” has not yet been released, however for a special screening, please contact me.

Produced in Partnership with UCLA, Meth: Inside Out is a documentary that covers the struggles of meth addiction. I shot several dramatic scenes which follow a woman whose’s addiction affects her family and career.
I chose a bleak, contrasty cinematic style to compliment the character’s struggles through addiction.

I shot this short film as part of a directing master class I produced for FilmSkills. Designed to teach students how to direct and block both the actors and the camera, the main video is the tutorial which guides students through my process of shooting each shot. This movie is the result.

The Attack

This action-driven military attack scene is part of a larger sequence I shot and directed for the music video, Le Disko by Shiny Toy Guns. Shot on the Universal Studios backlot in partnership with the National Guard, I created the frantic, overwhelming experience of a heavy firefight on the battlefield and the emotional toll it takes on everyone involved.

“Alone” is a dramatic sequence I shot as part of the feature-length documentary, “The World Without US,” in which we show the aftermath of a nuclear war between China, North Korea, and Japan.

With a central theme of boys and their toys, I played with the dichotomy of childhood innocence and the realities many young men face when their guns are real. Contrasting a white hot, kinetic performance with the dusty, dirty colors of war, I made sure the camera was always moving to fully engage the audience.

“Time and Again” is an independent movie I co-wrote, directed, and shot in 2003 in the small town of Chardon, Ohio.
Bobby Jones is a convicted murderer, sentenced to thirty years in prison for a crime he doesn’t even remember committing. Bent on finding the real killer, he escapes from prison only to be thrown back in time to July 14, 1958… the day of the murder.

“Clone” was the very first feature film I directed at the age of 22.
Four years after the third world war, society faces its own extinction. Derek Strombourgh, mourning the recent death of his daughter seeks the one man whose DNA can serve as the template for a new race of humans, impervious to the nuclear fallout.
As the first digital indie ever made, “Clone,” which began as a small independent film, grew into a lavish science fiction epic told with 3,000 costumed extras, over a dozen studios to create the 450 digital effects and 48 massive locations including NASA, nuclear power plants, prisons and cathedrals… and it was all produced in my basement for $25,000.
